I’m almost ashamed to admit that this was one that I never got around to watching on super 8 and only managed to see a few years ago on one of those cheap Mill Creek DVD compilations… and it turned out to be pretty average fare of the 1970s! I reckon it was on the same bill as ‘Bloody Apes’ on it’s theatrical. The film reveals Wesley’s haunted past little by little through creepy childhood flashbacks. It doesn’t keep all of its secrets, but the sick revelation of the ending is memorable and entertaining, and underneath it all is a decent little psychological horror movie. Another label put together, as was ‘Apes’ by Ellis Print of Penkridge.
