When this label was first posted (4th May 2023), I wasn’t able to give only concrete information as to its contents. However group member Gary Sayer supplied me with the following report: “I have this film on standard 8 and super 8 and it isn’t clips from any of her movies. From memory, it looks to be a film recording of a live TV performance of an ice show. It has that look of telerecordings from live plays on American TV from the 1950s. On the tin to my standard 8 copy it states that it was filmed live on stage at the cafe de Paris 1937. A quick Google says France started experimental TV broadcasting in 1931, which I was very surprised to find out. Neither of my copies are Derann prints. Label once more designed by Marianne Frost.
