It was a natural step, that as we introduced labels for specific titles, that it was decided that we should have labels for most if not all of the films we released. Rather than produce a vast number of individual labels a Generic label was the ideal solution, as some films just ticked over and we just couldn’t justify or endorse the cost for artwork and printing for each and every title. Over the years there have been a number of different labels, each design would leave space for a self adhesive sticker which would carry the information needed. I would print several thousand of each new label, which could be used on anything from a Newsreel to a cartoon and they would last one or two years before requiring a reprint.
