The Ghost of St. Michaels

by

I may not have been familiar with American comedy actor Edgar Kennedy, however I knew and was a huge fan of Will Hay. As soon as we saw the title at EMI I just knew it was right for our sales catalogue. Co-starring a very young Charles Hawtrey, Claude Hulbert and John Laurie and set in a Scottish school where it’s said that the sound of the phantom bagpipes hereld death by fright from the resident spook… what could go wrong?  However the print quality was almost as frightning as the ghost and although it still performed well it would have sold so much better. Simple label from Marianne Frost and printed by myself.

Label courtesy of Peter Brooke at ‘SPROCKETS’ .
