This 1955 Republic Film production was originally theatrically released by British Lion, but like so many films Derek picked up for 8mm/16mm, was probably purchased for re-release by a lesser distribution company and offered to Derek on one of many visits to Wardour Street. It was retelling of the story of the Alamo and featured a stellar cast that included Sterling Hayden, Richard Carlson, Ernest Borgnine and J Carrol Naish. It was edited and issued as a 4×400′ on one of his many whims, but was a great disappointment.
