I can’t for the life of me recall which of the two Rank Distributors ‘submarine’ dramas we issued first. This title or ‘Above us the Waves’, but one of them was edited by myself, Derek said try to ‘eliminate as much as possible from the first reel and the rest should be easy!’. This wasn’t my first editing job on a feature, as I seem to recall being given ‘The Lusty Men’ with Robert Mitchum previously…. though I can’t recall ever seeing it appear on Super 8. Marianne Frost designed the label and I printed it.
