A page article from the ABC Film Review, July 1976 issue: This is an American biographical political drama-thriller film about the Watergate scandal that brought down the presidency of Richard Nixon and was based on the book by Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward, the two journalists investigating the Watergate scandal for The Washington Post. The film stared Robert Redford and Dustin Hoffman as Woodward and Bernstein and was nominated for eight Academy awards and won four of them. I was somewhat surprised that Columbia had decided to release this as a 400′ on Super 8, it just didn’t seem to be Super 8 material and was a slow seller for us.
