Three pages from an early issue introduce this Associated British-Pathé WW2 drama from 1952. I’m afraid I generally find this kind of British movie wooden and laden with stiff upper lipped chaps telling each other about the loved ones back home. But thank goodness Powell Films thought otherwise and issued this story of an RAF fighter squadron at the height of the Battle of Britain as a 5×400′. I might not be an admirer of this sort of drama but most WW2 dramas sold and rented very well with The Dam Busters being the most popular. I can’t find an example of Powell’s label on the internet, so if you can help out please scan and post!
