A two page article from the July 1969 issue: This 1969 Hammer horror receives a 6.7 rating on the IMDb and was Hammer’s and Cushing’s fifth venture into the world of Mary Shelley. The Baron is conducting a series of experiments leading up to a brain transplant of a colleague into the body of a dead professor. This sequel portrays the doctor as a ruthless and perverted character who will stop at nothing to achieve his goal. It was directed by veteran Terence Fisher. Warner Brothers 8mm Home Movies released this classy feature as a Black and White, Silent extract. Much later we advertised that we were to release the full length feature even giving it nearly half a page in the 1990 sales catalogue…. but for reasons unknown it was never issued.
