Two pages from a film annual and the first of a number of these 1 to 3 page gems: This film introduced the newest and final ‘monster’ to Universal’s catalogue of classic horror villains, Frankenstein, Dracula, The Mummy and The Wolfman. I first saw this film as part of a double bill along with ‘Son of Frankenstein’ at the Royal cinema in Cradley Heath and as you can guess it was in 2D. Many years later Derann screened a 16mm print in 3D at one of our Saturday evening premieres. I already owned the castle 200′ edition and naturally purchased the Universal 8 400′ 3D release, when it was issued a number of years later. We would also print this 400′ and they were always out of stock. Now having a 55″ 3D Oled TV I now own the 3D Blu Ray. Annual pages, courtesy of Ian Bacon.
