A two page article from the January 1962 issue: I can’t admit to being a big Cliff Richard fan, but I did go to see at least three of his movies at my local ABC and this was the first. This Warner-Pathe release was a big hit in both the pop charts and the film launched Cliff’s short but very successful career in the world of Movie Musicals. Walton Films were on to a good thing with this movie, but for reasons of their own only released 2 x 200′ colour extracts. In “Nothing’s Impossible” he sings ‘The Young Ones’ and ‘Nothing’s Impossible’ along with co-star Carole Grey and in the second Cliff and the gang find themselves in a derelict theater and perform “We’ve Got A Show”. Both were released flat while the original had been a CinemaScope production. Derann picked up the 8mm rights and the title appeared in the Derann 1990 sales catalogue, but for some reason it was never released. This may have been problems with suitable master material or as we had discovered with other unreleased titles, problems with music rights!
