A 24 Souvenir brochure heads this entry. This winner of ten Academy Awards was released in 1961 receives a measly 7.6 on the IMDb! This musical and ‘South Pacific’ are perhaps my favourite movie musicals of all time. It received a feature release from Kempski in ‘Scoptimax’ and Derann was later lucky enough to pick up this negative and soundmaster along with several other Kempski titles. However shortly after Derek had re-edited the material to fit onto 6×600′ reels Buck labs mislaid a reel of the neg and I don’t think we were never able to print it full length, and resorted to releasing just a couple of numbers on a 200′ reel.
I’m not sure if Kempski printed a box label and can’t find an example on the internet, so if you can help out please scan and post!
