We’d been dealing with Butchers Films from well before I joined Derann and a number of our early 8mm feature releases were from their busy, but small catalogue of theatrical releases and productions. ‘Something Creeping in the Dark’ and ‘Some May Live’ are just two that come to mind. Walton Films also had a number of their product including ‘The Night Caller’ and ‘The Hi-Jackers’. John Phillips their MD was a great gent and through him we picked up a number of titles for video cassette. ‘Orders are Orders’, ‘Journey to the Center of Time’, ‘The Hi-Jackers’, ‘The Night Caller’, ‘Hell is Empty’,  ‘The Mad Bomber’ among others. It was one of our early releases video releases and it had a strong cast including its stars Ian McShane, Gayle Hunnicutt and Keith Barron, and was pretty good gangster film with McShane as con-man who makes his living by showing blue movies and arranging shady land deals, who ends wanted by the law and gangland bosses alike.  It turned into a surprise hit and was still selling when we closed our video side. The label was designed by Marianne Frost.
