Another box label for one of our many video cassette releases. This was one of our very first video cassette releases and was made available on both VHS and Beta. This was one of three titles that Derek had quickly picked up from producer Tom Blakeley, with just a phone call. It starred Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee who are both killed by the ‘alien blobs’ before the films climax. Like its sister production ‘Island of Terror’ this too is set on an isolated island, but here the locals are experiencing blistering temperatures in the depths of winter! Once more Tom hadn’t any publicity material available, so the video label was made up of a single photo that didn’t even have its famous stars on it! Instead co-stars Patrick Allen and Sarah Lawson cower in terror from some off screen terror! This title was a popular item, but never sold as well as ‘Island of Terror’, even with Cushing and Lee.
