If you have a story to tell send it to my personal messenger, and a photo or two would be nice.

Hello Ged. Thank you for your invitation. I started collecting Super 8 film in 1980. First, of course, only silent films. In 1986 I bought my first sound film projector. A friend introduced me to Derann Film in the late 1980s. Finally, in 1989, Cinemascope and new film projectors were added. Mostly Bauer T502 – T 610. I bought a lot of trailers, short films from Derann and was always looking forward to the next newsletter. Short films such as A Cinema of Our Time, Cinema in Miniature, Project the Right Image have even become integral parts of a home cinema show. Of course, the Christmas classics such as A Night before Xmas and Santa’s workshop should not be missing from the Christmas program. From the year 2000 16mm and from about 2010 35mm were added. In terms of filming, I made my last vacation documentary, The Heart of Mexico, in 2003. To this day, the hobby of film has not let me go. I enjoy watching the videos of the Armchair Odeon and I always see something new to improve its presentation. Greetings from Germany. Marcel Jager
