This was our fourth video release and even after trying very hard to recall as to where we purchased the rights from it still remains a puzzle. According to the IMDb it was given a theatrical release in the UK by Rank Film Distributors in 1969… that was two years after it’s production, so it must have been lying around for some time before reaching the UK screens. I must have caught some of the film as we were dupping the copies inhouse at the time, but I have to lay my cards on the table and admit to having no memories of any sort. It sounds like a bit of a ‘pot boiler’ and has a handful of names in it’s cast. What I do recall is that it sold relitivly well considering all of the above. The label was an early example of Marianne Frosts work.
