In 1958 a British institution was born with the release of the first in a long series of comedy films. ‘Carry On Cabby’ was the seventh in the series. Regulars Sid James, Hattie Jacques, Kenneth Connor and Charles Hawtrey are all present. Liz Fraser makes her third appearance and Esma Cannon makes her fourth and final appearance, while it marked the first to feature Jim Dale and Amanda Barrie. Producer Peter Rogers reverted to black & white for the film. No Super 8 release.
