This entertaining, though overly long musical drama from 1977, was one of the titles we picked up in our first contract with United Artists. It wasn’t something we asked for and was only taken when we saw that if we didn’t we might lose the contract altogether. With Director Martin Scorsese and starring Liza Minnelli and Robert De Niro it may have seemed that it was going to be a winner, but it was a great disappointment to the folks at UA. Another label designed by Marianne Frost.
