A two page article from the March 1960 issue: This low budget comedy was the first of two ‘Dentist’ films, the second being ‘Dentist on the Job’. It was distributed by Renown Pictures and must have been fairly successful as the second was picked up by the major, Anglo-Amalgamated Film Distributors. Starring Bob Monkhouse and Kenneth Connor it was picked up for release by Walton films and was issued in both standard and super 8 as a 4×400′. The were also two 200′ shorts released ‘Delinquent Dentist’ and ‘Nothing But The Tooth’. DCR films would later issue the title as a 5×400′ unedited! I can’t find any examples of Walton box artwork on the internet, so if you can help out please scan and post!
