A ½ page article from the April 1983 issue, I never got the chance to see this at a UK cinema and think that it a VHS tape that was my first visit to this monster on the lose in New York flick! By now most of you will be aware of my passion for monster mayhem… and this is a really nice example! Part of the ITC deal that included, ‘Raise The Titanic’, ‘Capricorn One’ and ‘Hawk The Slayer’. It’s got a cracking cast that included David Carradine, Michael Moriarty, Richard Roundtree and Candy Clark and some fine stop motion animation by David Allen. As to why it ended up as a 600′ release, I can’t answer. There aren’t many movies on the 8mm market of this nature, so I always thought it was alost opportunity. It sold poorly. I don’t possess a decent example of a Derann label and can’t find an example on the internet, so if you can help out please scan and post!
