Two pages from Photoplay September 1955. Marilyn Monroe would only make five more feature films following this CinemaScope comedy and she was at the height of her career. It’s a silly tale of one man’s fantasy for a pretty girl who has rented the upstairs apartment, but it’s clever use of his idiotic daydreams and Marilyn’s charm take it far beyond that.
Ken Films issued both a 200′ and 400′ and they proved very popular, while in Germany Inter-Pathe would issue the same 400′ with their own packaging. Derann had plans for the film as feature release and it was featured in our 1992 sales catalogue…. however like ‘How to Marry a Millionaire’ it never surfaced.
