Stupendous and often hectic fun as a toon-hating detective is a cartoon rabbit’s only hope to prove his innocence when he is accused of murder. With Bob Hoskins, Christopher Lloyd, Joanna Cassidy and Stubby Kaye and directed by Robert Zemeckis. This was our ninth Walt Disney feature release. When first released this comedy adventure had been a sensational cinematic phenomenon and had spawned a brief series of animated shorts starring Roger! It was awarded three Academy Awards and was nominated for a further three. Running at 104 minutes we released on 4 x 600′ spools, and it came complete with a magnetic stereo soundtrack.
