Ty Hardin, best remembered as TVs ‘Bronco, a popular western series that ran for 5 years, stars in this Italian made movie. The original title was ‘Il Giorno del Giudizio’, but it has also been viewed under several other names, including ‘Day of Judgment’, ‘Doomsday’ and ‘An Eye for An Eye’. The plot wasn’t anything new and was just someone seeking revenge on the six killers who murdered his wife & child, and burned his home. He tracks down and kills each man one by one until he finds the leader of the gang. It was released in the UK by Saga Film Distributors and as that’s a new name to me, I assume that the rights were picked up at one of the Cannes festivals we visited. It was a fair seller for us. The label was again designed by Marianne Frost.
