This historical war drama was something of a first for us, we were much more at home with horror or adult sexromp comedies. Maurice Wilson, MD of Grand National, almost gave the rights this title to us. Based on a true incident in which on March 23, 1944: 33 German soldiers were killed by a bomb. A German officer, Lt. Col. Herbert Kappler, is ordered to execute ten times that many Italians and a Priest, Father Pietro Antonelli does his best to talk him out of it. Richard Burton and Marcello Mastroianni star in this Carlo Ponti production. Artwork from Marianne Frost. and a printed by yours truly.
