Abbott And Costello Meet Captain Kidd

A two page article from the December 1953 issue, plus a photo spread from the following month: The film packaging states ‘A Heritage Release’ but most of us are well aware that Mountain Film took over their catalogue, and that could mean it was issued in numerous lengths and edits. I can only recall ever seeing the 4×400′ feature and it was always in black & white, although it was originally filmed in colour, “Supercinecolor” if I’m being precise. I also have a feeling that we had the title in at least one of our sales catalogues, so we may have taken over the neg at one time.
