I’d read a number of Arthur Hailey novels was pretty excited when I saw this at the ABC Stourbridge, as I was still a chef at the Talbot Hotel situated just 100 yards from the cinema. Perhaps not as good as the book, but it was pretty damn close and it had a great music score from Alfred Newman that was very quickly added to my collection of soundtrack albums. The 400′ released by Universal 8 was like most of their releases, nicely edited and sold steadily for some time.
